Vespertine
Björk
The enjoyment of Bjork albums has always lied in the challenge of learning their language and becoming familiar with their alien nature.
It may take several concentrated listenings of "Vespertine" to crack it's hermetic code, but once you finally slip inside, the intoxicating otherness washes over you like a wave of quicksilver. Bjork along with Radiohead, remains one of the few artists today capable of constantly evolving yet retaining an utterly distinctive sound
